This morning, I was talking to my wife about the Barron Knights, and I looked on the Internet for the website, somehting I have been meaning to do for some time, and I was devastated to see that Dick, (Duke) had passed away.

I was the landlord of the Claypipe pub in Appenine Way, leighton Buzzard from 1979 to 1893, I was the first lanlord of the pub, which opened to the public on December 13th 1979, and that is where I met Dick, and we became close friends. When I moved from Leighton Buzzard, we eventually lost contact. Oh I can recall so many happy times I spent with Dick, and with my ex-wife all of us going out for a meal, we drove Dick to many of the shows that the Knights appeared in....
